1. Our Commitment to Privacy

At Ping VPN, your privacy is our top priority. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

2. No-Logs Policy

We maintain a strict no-logs policy. This means we do NOT collect or store:

• Your browsing history or online activities
• Your original IP address
• DNS queries made through our servers

To operate the service — enforce free-session time limits, size server capacity, and prevent abuse — we keep anonymous session metadata, such as total connection time and data volume per server. This metadata is never linked to your identity, your IP address, or anything you do online: it cannot identify you or reveal your activity, and it is automatically deleted after 30 days. Premium sessions are not individually logged.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:

Account Information

• Email address (for account management and support)
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment partners)
• Subscription status and plan type

Technical Data

• Device type and operating system (for app compatibility)
• App version (for troubleshooting and updates)
• Aggregate server load statistics (no individual data)

Advertising Data (Free Plan Only, Android and Desktop)

On Android and desktop, the free plan is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier, device and diagnostic information, and ad-interaction data. Ads are non-personalized by default. Premium plans are entirely ad-free and collect no advertising data.

iOS and iPadOS

The Ping VPN app for iOS and iPadOS shows no advertising on any plan. On those platforms we do not sell, use, or disclose to any third party the data we collect, for any purpose. Data collected there is used solely to operate the service for you: to run your account and sessions, enforce your device limit, and detect failing servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used only to:

• Provide and maintain our VPN service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important service notifications
• Provide customer support
• Improve our service and user experience

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• WireGuard encryption for all VPN connections
• TLS/SSL encryption for website and API communications
• Secure data centers with physical access controls
• Regular security audits and updates

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• M-Pesa (Safaricom): Payment processing in Kenya
• PesaPal: Card and mobile money payment processing
• PayPal: Auto-renewing subscription billing
• Google AdMob (Google LLC): Serves ads on the free plan on Android and desktop only, and may collect advertising identifiers, device and diagnostic information, and ad-interaction data. Not used by the iOS or iPadOS app, which shows no advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Let's Encrypt: SSL certificates

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information only as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our app.
